Amy Brenna

Amy R. Brenna, President and Founder of brenna workshops and Brenna Consulting

Amy Brenna combines business savvy and organizational talents with a knack for effective coaching to help a broad assortment of business, nonprofit, and home clients become more productive, successful, and fulfilled.

Having worked in marketing, project management, and strategic planning for technology start-ups and Fortune 500 companies such as American Express, Time Inc. and Ogilvy & Mather for over 15 years and then building a successful management consultancy called Brenna Consulting, Amy is now offering specialized workshops in efficiency and time management skills to aspiring individuals who are in college, graduate school, or in the formative early years of their careers.

The idea of these workshops grew out of Amy’s work as a volunteer tutor and mentor. She found that bright, motivated students struggle with the same efficiency skills that long-term professionals need to master in order to move up the career ladder. She also found that young professionals who attended Brenna Consulting workshops had little or no training in these skills, and were wasting time better used for work or study trying to create their own systems.

Schools and universities across New York City, such as Barnard and New York University, are now incorporating Brenna Consulting workshops into the core services they offer to their students.

Amy is a regular guest on Martha Stewart Living radio, and her work has been featured by WABC-TV, TimeOut NY, The New York Post, the Chicago Tribune, Women’s Day and other publications.

Amy has a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.A. from Indiana University in Anthropology and Archaeology, and an MBA from New York University in Marketing and International Business.
